Capilano Suspension Bridge

Explore North Vancouver's canyons in a dramatic way at Capilano Suspension Bridge...

Capilano Suspension Bridge is great for all lovers of nature, with boardwalks cutting through places normally inaccessible. From the Treetops to the side of cliffs and 230ft above the the Capilano River, this attraction is a way of discovering nature like you never have before.

The bridge looks fine when looking across from one side. Different story, however, when you actually cross it.

I found myself stumbling and grabbing onto bridge in my slow journey across the canyon...but lots of fun, I must admit

Across the bridge is Capilano Suspension Bridge's EdgeWalk, which gives you nice views of the canyon "on the edge", as well as Treetops Adventure, which lets you connect with nature on a higher level (in more ways than one).

Back on the other side is CliffWalk, Capilano Suspension Bridge's newest addition. Impressive views, if you can handle the height.

Capilano Suspension Bridge brings nature to you with more than just "a walk in the park". Through the unique ways of connecting with nature, I also picked up a couple of neat things about our native land. I'll refrain from spoiling the details and let you find out more when you visit :)

For more information, visit http://www.capbridge.com.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Promo:

**BC residents can get unlimited admission for one year for the price of one day's admission!

Vancouver International Jazz Festival

The annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival is back starting today to July 1, Canada Day.

I've never actually been down to the festival, but I passed by the Vancouver Art Gallery a few times in the previous years and it looked very exciting. The Jazz Festival isn't just limited to downtown though; there are 35 venues across the Lower Mainland this year for this popular event.

Downtown Jazz Weekend June 22-23 kicks off the festival with free concerts all day.

There will be some road closures and transit changes during this festival. For more details about the events and closures, visit Vancouver International Jazz Festival's website at http://coastaljazz.ca
